To support these gardens, Environment Lethbridge hosts the Lethbridge Community Garden Network, which is designed to provide information and support to new and existing gardens.
Usually the last Saturday in March, Seedy Saturday is the perfect way to kick of spring and the growing season. It’s a way to celebrate, learn and be inspired to grow your own food, flowers, greens, plants, to eat and shop local, find new ways to live a sustainable life, and learn about amazing organizations bettering our community, youth, and beyond! Seedy Saturday brings together a variety of vendors, presents speakers/workshops, and the hosts the ever popular – free seed swap. Grab seeds for free, bring some to leave or swap.
