What’s in it for you? Local businesses often provide better products and services than multinational corporations since they are indirect contact with their customer on a daily basis. They also stimulate the local economy by paying local taxes, hiring local citizens, and purchasing local goods and services themselves.
But don’t take our word for it. Check out this study conducted in 2019 by Loco BC. They found that local business recirculate up to$63 of every $100 in revenue in the local economy, compared to $14 for multinationals. They also produce up to 8.4 times more jobs & up to 8.1 times more revenue than multinationals.
